Dion Waiters has only been suspended for the first game of the season. But he hasn’t even appeared on the bench since the regular season began.
The odd situation between Waiters and the Heat added a new wrinkle yesterday. Erik Spoelstra first stated that Waiters would be active for Miami’s game against the Denver Nuggets Tuesday night, but later said that he would not be active. Waiters didn’t even appear in street clothes on the bench, as players often do when they are injured.
Spoelstra says Dion Waiters will be on the bench and active Tuesday.
