Tyler Johnson undergoes successful shoulder surgery

The Miami Heat announced Wednesday that second-year guard Tyler Johnson underwent successful surgery for his bothersome left shoulder today.

The one-hour surgery was performed by Heat team physician Dr. Harlan Selesnick at Doctors Hospital in Miami. Johnson will begin rehab immediately.

No timetable was given by the Heat for his return, but he is expected to be out of action for approximately two months.

In 36 games (with five starts) this season, Johnson is averaging 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 24.0 minutes while shooting 48.8 percent from the field.
