Tyler Herro's career night a surprise to many, but not to the Miami Heat: 'He's been doing it all year long'

Miami Heat rookie guard Tyler Herro poured in a career-high 37 points in a 112-109 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night.

Nobody who has been around him all season was surprised.

Long before the Heat started dominating the rest of the league in the postseason bubble -- now just one game from their first Finals appearance since 2014 with a 3-1 series lead over the Celtics -- teammates and coaches have been singing Herro's praises. They always believed he was capable of big performances on the biggest stage, they always trusted that he wouldn't shy away from the moment, and they always knew that the 20-year-old had confidence well beyond his years.
