Not two phrases that usually go together, but it was part of the answer emailed to us by reader Gabriela when we asked readers to send us their thoughts on how virtual school is going.
She has three children in the Palm Beach County school system and wrote that she didn’t know how she’d balance everything she has to do with her job responsibilities. Fortunately, at the time she wrote, her job continued to pay income despite her staying home.
“My 8th grader is doing school like she’s actually there. From 9 to 4, she spends too much time in front of the computer.
