Shortly after the report that the Miami Heat were interested in Rudy Gay from the Sacramento Kings, it was quickly debunked by Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald. The Rudy Gay rumor, which originated between Ethan and ESPN's Michael Wallace, was enhanced by Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders.
What Wallace did say is that the Heat has been talking wing players with a team from the Pacific Division -- and it was the Kings, but now Ethan is saying that it is Omri Casspi.
Casspi is a 27-year old small forward from Israel.
