Free agent forward Derrick Williams has agreed to a one-year, $5M deal with Miami, league source tells @TheVertical.
Williams is coming off the most well-rounded season of his career, and the contract marks a bargain for the Heat. Wojnarowksi reports that Williams is interested in what the Heat’s culture can do for him, and aims to play himself into a bigger deal in 2017.
