A few days ago, Miami Heat minority owner Ranaan Katz alleged that LeBron James wanted head coach Erik Spoelstra fired when he was with the team between 2010 and 2014.
Those translated comments have since been refuted by several Miami-based reporters, including ESPN’s Dan Le Batard, who claimed that Katz has nothing to do with the team and has a poison relationship with the organization.
At a private event Thursday to honor Riley as an American Icon, the team president was asked about Katz’ comments.
