MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Hassan Whiteside will get a little extra time off following the NBA’s All-Star Break.
The NBA has announced that Whiteside has been suspended one game for his elbow to the head of San Antonio Spurs center Boban Marjanovic during Tuesday’s game at the American Airlines Arena.
The game that he will miss will be Miami’s road game against the Atlanta Hawks on February 19th, the team’s first game following the NBA All-Star break.
This isn’t the first time that Whiteside has been suspended.
