The 2023 NBA Finals is set.
The Miami Heat closed out a nail-biting Eastern Conference finals series against the Boston Celtics with a Game 7 win on Monday night and will face the Denver Nuggets in the championship (Game 1, 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, ABC).
The eighth-seeded Heat are just the second No. 8 seed in NBA history to appear in the Finals. The Denver Nuggets, who are appearing in the Finals for the first time, completed a sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers and will have home-court advantage against the Heat.
