NBA All-Star voting: Dwyane Wade with comfortable lead for Eastern backcourt

Dwyane Wade has a comfortable lead on the Eastern Conference guards in the latest returns for the All Star voting, with almost 300 thousand votes between him and second place Kyrie Irving.

The NBA released the second returns Thursday for the All Star game taking place on Feb 14 in Toronto. Wade has 562,558 votes, with Irving in second with 271, 094. Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler and then John Wall trail.

Wade is having quite the year, missing just one game (due to one of his sons being hospitalized) and averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 assists per game with a shooting percentage of 46 percent.
