After going down with a strained left oblique against the Washington Wizards Wednesday, Hassan Whiteside isn’t certain about when he’ll be able to play again.
During the second quarter of Miami’s loss to the Wizards, Whiteside hit the floor despite not seeming to make contact with any other player. He remained on the floor for a while and, even though he got up under his own power, was in apparent pain as he went straight to the locker room. He did not return to the game.
Whiteside: "I took a couple of steps and felt a really sharp pain in my hip down towards my legs.
