Gerald Green’s 28 points off the bench helped spark an early Miami Heat rally and beat the Washington Wizards in the team’s second-to-last preseason game.
Down 16 early in the first half, the Miami Heat starters looked sluggish to tip off the game. However, a spark from Gerald Green and the rest of the bench helped light a fire that energized this Heat team to a 110-105 win over the Washington Wizards at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.
Green was hot, scoring 28 points in 25 minutes, including going three-of-five from the 3-point line.
