The Miami Heat came out strong, but quickly fell flat in a unimpressive 98-83 loss to the Utah Jazz.
After winning the first quarter 29-19, the Heat simply looked outmatched, being outscored 79-54 the rest of the way. Entering the fourth quarter, the Heat were still in striking distance, but the Jazz proved to be the superior foe, pulling away with a stress-free win.
Shooting woes
Once again, three point shooting, or the lack thereof, proved to be the Heat’s biggest flaw. The squad shot a combined 6-for-19 (31.6 percent) from long range.
Another mediocre shooting night for the Heat confirms how badly this team needs to acquire more outside threats.
