The Miami Heat, by signing guard Briante Weber and releasing guard Corey Hawkins are making moves to stock up their D-League affiliate. The team announced the moves Monday.
The Heat are expected to assign Hawkins to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat’s affiliate in the D-League. By signing Weber, an undrafted guard out of VCU, they will be able to do the same with him by the end of the preseason.

As a result of the moves, the Miami roster remains at 20, the maximum allowed during the preseason.
