Kristaps Porzingis is the New York Knicks’ rookie sensation from Latvia. He’s long, athletic and extremely skilled. Oh, and he’s really cool. But against the Miami Heat, Kristaps wasn’t feeling so cool. On two occasions, Porzingis got dunked on. Once by Chris Bosh, then by Hassan Whiteside.
First came the Bosh dunk. Bosh baited the rookie into contesting a jumper with a pump fake, then blew by him to the basket. Porzingis is quick, but not that quick. It serves as a reminder of just how good Bosh still is.
Then, just a few minutes later, Dwyane Wade caught Porzingis in his game of monkey in the middle with Whiteside.
