Most NBA franchises have widely accepted unidentifiable traits. For instance, the Chicago Bulls have the dream team of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. The Los Angeles Lakers have Kobe Bryant. The Cleveland Cavaliers have LeBron James. But what about on a deeper level?
Well, the Bulls have pretty much always been just as strong (if not more so) defensively, as offensively. The Lakers built a dynasty around endless talent: Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Shaquille O’Neal, just to name a few. The Cavaliers had, then lost, then had again the best player in the world.
