The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 95-78 on Monday night, capping a successful homestand that saw the team win 6 of 7 games. The Heat took a 50-32 halftime lead, and cruised to victory despite a 20 point-14 rebound game from rookie Kristaps Prozingis and 21 points from Carmelo Anthony. Miami put up a balanced performance, with 5 players in double figures and excellent team defense that held the Knicks to 32.
