The Miami Heat were desperate to turn their fortunes around this past offseason and that meant doing whatever was necessary. Pat Riley got a major part of this done when he was able to finagle together a deal that saw the Miami Heat land Jimmy Butler in a sign and trade agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers.
That was not it though, as the rumors seemed to indicate that while at least one whale was a must get for the Miami Heat and Riley, he was still in on at least one more.
