Miami Heat: An in-depth 2019-2020 Season Preview of the team

Miami Heat 2018-2019 Record: 39-43 (10th in Eastern Conference)

Looking back on the Miami Heat’s 2018-2019 campaign, it’s fair to say why there was room for
disappointment. Even as Dwyane Wade’s farewell tour, his One Last Dance, created an infectious and feel-good type of energy for the entire league to feed off, it wasn’t enough for the Heat to close out the season on a high note: the Biscayne Boys would miss the playoffs for the third time in the last 5 seasons.

Also, while all signs following the season initially seemed to have pointed to a quiet summer in the
front office, Pat Riley managed to pull together the most ambitious and productive offseason the Miami Heat have had since LeBron James shocked the sports world with The Decision to join the
organization back in 2010.
