1. Hassan Whiteside Shuts the Door
With the Knicks chipping away at the HEAT’s lead in the fourth quarter, Whiteside protected the rim and ensured that Miami would end its seven-game homestand on a good note. The big man swatted three shots in the fourth, including blocks on Robin Lopez and Kristaps Porzingis. Whiteside also sank four of his six free throws in the period. While it wasn’t his best game offensively, Whiteside remained composed and battled Lopez throughout the contest.
