Josh Richardson could miss up to two weeks with groin injury

Josh Richardson suffered an apparent groin injury last night during the third quarter of the Miami Heat’s loss to the Boston Celtics and it looks like it will be a significant one.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that an MRI on Richardson’s groin revealed no structural damage but that the guard could miss up to two weeks in what would be a huge blow to the Heat’s chances of reaching the NBA playoffs.

Miami only has four games left in the regular season and with back-to-back losses to the Celtics, they are now in ninth place in the Eastern Conference behind the Orlando Magic for the last spot.
