Heat suspend Green for 2 games over detrimental conduct

Miami Heat guard Green said he accepted the suspension.

MIAMI -- Gerald Green will return to the Miami Heat, but only after the shooting guard serves a two-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.

The specifics of that conduct, however, remain a mystery.

Green was briefly hospitalized last week for still-undisclosed reasons and has not been with the team since. He was a key reserve in Miami's first three games, missed a game on Nov. 3 because of what the team said was an illness and then needed to be transported by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital the following morning.
