The Miami Heat are staying mum on the incident that sent Gerald Green to the hospital last week, but apparently the team believes he did something wrong.
The Heat on Tuesday suspended Green two games for conduct detrimental to the team, effective immediately. Miami declined to elaborate on his suspension, but Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reports it was a result of last week’s incident.
Green was admitted to a Miami-area hospital last Wednesday morning after law enforcement officials were called to his condominium complex. According to reports, the 29-year-old swingman was acting strangely in the lobby of the condo and “screaming at the top of his lungs” before he was taken away in an ambulance.
