The Miami Heat have signed guard DeAndre Liggins, who originally signed with the team on a pair of 10-day contracts in 2014 and played two seasons with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat’s G-League affiliate team.

Liggins played in 62 games with 19 starts for both the Dallas Mavericks and the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 12.5 minutes.

The 6’6” guard was selected with the 53rd overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic and was an integral part of the Skyforce team that won the 2016 championship, appearing in 34 games (with 33 starts) that season averaging 13.
