Miami Heat leaped 5 spots to 4 in Marc Stein's power rankings, which them as the top team after the top three elite teams of the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers.
So far the top three teams are in a class by themselves, so to be considered as the best of the rest is quite an honor. In his comments Stein said, "It was admittedly an almighty struggle for the Committee of One to pinpoint a team worthy of the No. 4 slot on this Rankings Monday, such are the ups and downs that have engulfed seemingly the entire league outside of Golden State, San Antonio and Cleveland in these first few weeks of the season.
