Heat falter in overtime, lose 102-91 to Pacers

With Kyle Lowry sitting out due to a bad ankle, the Miami Heat faltered down the stretch in their first road game of the season and lost 102-91 in overtime to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.

Miami fell behind early in the first quarter without their starting point guard and his loss was apparent right away, with short bursts of creativity from Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler interspersed with clunky offensive sets. Gabe Vincent started in place of Lowry but did little in terms of playmaking and even less in the box score — totaling two points, three assists, three rebounds and three turnovers in 25 minutes.
