HEAT Fall To Nuggets

Although the HEAT were within striking distance of the Nuggets at halftime, they couldn’t get much going after that in a 109-89 loss Tuesday night at Pepsi Center.

Let’s take a look at some bright spots despite the disappointing result.

1. Butler Aggressive Early

While Jimmy Butler struggled a bit with his shot, he didn’t let that affect his disposition.

Rather, the 30-year-old vet absorbed a ton of contact on drives to the bucket, took advantage from the charity stripe and continued to be active on the defensive end.

Speaking of defense, this was one of his better sequences of the night:

When it was all said and done, Butler recorded a team-high 16 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the free-throw line, seven boards (four offensive), four assists and two steals.
