Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported that the Miami Heat have discussed a two-way contract for Marcus Garrett, the 6-foot-5 wing who has impressed in summer league. He also reported that the Heat have “conveyed interest” in DeJon Jarreau, a point guard, but added that Miami sources haven’t revealed whether they will offer a two-way contract.
Incidentally, Heat remains interested in Marcus Garrett -- a 2-way has been discussed - but he's in middle of changing representation and thus cannot do anything with any team for at least a week (unless Garrett does the contract himself, which would be odd for a rookie).
