The Miami HEAT defeated the Denver Nuggets 98-95 Friday night at Pepsi Center. Hassan Whiteside tallied a triple-double with 19 points, 17 rebounds and 11 blocks.
1. Whiteside Makes History Again
With Miami down 18 points early in the third quarter, the team needed a big surge to get back into the game. The HEAT got that and so much more from Hassan Whiteside on Friday night. Thanks to superb defense by the 26-year-old, Miami forced Denver to shoot just 23.8 percent in the third. Whiteside tallied five of his 11 blocks in the quarter and made nothing come easy for the Nuggets.
