Guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) will not play in Game 4 as Miami Heat 'have to be smart about it'

ATLANTA -- Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry, who exited Game 3 with a left hamstring strain, will not play in Game 4 of their first round series against the Hawks, the team announced.

"You have to be smart about it," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. "The training staff determined that he wasn't going to play tonight and we have everybody else available and that's what we're focused on right now."

Spoelstra did not name a starter in Lowry's place. After Saturday's practice, Miami center Bam Adebayo vouched for third-year guard Gabe Vincent to fill in for Lowry.
