Just after confirming the trade of Mario Chalmers and James Ennis to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Miami Heat also released a brief statement announcing a two-game suspension for reserve guard Gerald Green.
Green has missed four games dating back to last week, where he was reportedly restrained at his residence and taken away in an ambulance. He had not played the night before against the Atlanta Hawks at the AmericanAirlines Arena for what the team called an illness.
"I want to apologize to my family, fans and the Heat organization," said Green.
