According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, some serious consideration is being given to former Heat star, Caron Butler to replace Tony Fiorentino as a Miami Heat TV analyst. Butler joins LaPhonso Ellis and John Crotty on a list of former Heat players who are also rumoured to be in the running for the job. While Fiorentino will be leaving his post behind the mic, he’ll continue working for the Heat in a different capacity.

It was rumoured that Butler would re-join the Heat in 2016, but that never happened.
