Five Stars is a series of articles which focuses on the top five performers from each Heat game, measured with the GameScore metric as defined by www.basketball-reference.com. The first number you see after each name is the GameScore, the second number is a pro-rated homemade statistic which sets the bar at 100 with a GameScore of 30 in 36 minutes.
The standings below are a cumulative tracker where each player is awarded a certain amount of points for each time they appeared in the Five Stars, 10 points for a First Star in a win, nine points for a First Star in a loss, eight points for the Second Star in a win, and so on.
