One of the subplots for the Miami Heat entering the 2025-26 season is how the team will function now that the Jimmy Butler Era is officially over. There is some belief that Miami can be more cohesive this year and won't have the traveling circus that followed them all of last season.
But given that Miami's roster lacks a true superstar entering the year, it is going to put even more pressure on Erik Spoelstra to prove he can coach a squad to a sum that is better than its parts.
