Early Team Bonding Key for HEAT

Whenever a team acquires new players, it usually takes some time for everyone to get situated. In the offseason, the HEAT brought in a number of new pieces. First, Miami drafted Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson in the 2015 NBA Draft. Then the team signed Gerald Green and Amar’e Stoudemire in early July. Despite all the new faces, the team has seemed to come together quite well.

“It’s a new group, new players, but they’ve connected pretty quickly and that’s on and off the court,” Erik Spolestra said after the HEAT’s final preseason game on Friday. “They enjoy coming to work, they enjoy the process and going through it together.
