Dwyane Wade maintains comfortable lead in NBA All Star voting

With almost as many votes as second place Kyrie Irving and third place Kyle Lowry combined, Dwyane Wade remains atop of the voting for the NBA All Star backcourt in the Eastern Conference.

Wade, who has 736,732 votes in the third returns, has been way out in front since the beginning. Barring a Justin Bieber level upset, Wade figures to hold on to that spot by mid-February’s All Star weekend in Toronto.

Wade is behind only Stephen Curry for All Star votes among guards, and fifth in the NBA overall. Only Kobe Byrant (1,533,432), LeBron James (830,345), Stephen Curry (1,206,467) and Kevin Durant (774,782) have more votes.
