Despite yet another slow start offensively, the Orlando Magic were able to hold off the Miami Heat in overtime, 95-92, behind a balanced attack that had four Magic players in double-figures. The Heat had most of their reserves in for this one, while the Magic got Aaron Gordon back as he looked impressive in his 17 minutes.
In the first half, the Heat jumped out to the early 11-7 lead. The bad early starts continue to be a trend for the Magic. Needing a boost from someone, Orlando was able to find that through Dewayne Dedmon‘s hustle, defense and offensive rebounding.
