A home invader knocked at the door and forced his way inside but the senior resident fought back and now Coral Springs police are searching for the man who ran away.
The suspect got in about 9 p.m. Monday when she answered the door of the house in the 8400 block of Northwest 27th Drive. They struggled and the suspect took off running east on Northwest 27th Street headed towards Riverside Drive, police said.
The doorbell security camera recorded the man on video. He’s described as having a dark complexion, in his mid-20s, medium build, about 5-foot-8, with dreadlocks and a goatee.
