Chris Bosh among star-studded field for NBA Three-Point Contest

The Three-Point Contest has become the headlining challenge of the NBA All-Star Weekend as the league becomes more and more reliant on perimeter shooting. The contest attracted big names last season, and will attract big names again this time around.

Headlining the group, that the NBA announced Thursday, is Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. The Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh will also participate, and will be the only big man in the competition. The others to join the shootout are: James Harden, Klay Thompson, J.J. Redick, Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton and Devin Booker.

You’ve got to hand it to Bosh, who is unafraid to be the lone big in a field of sharp shooters.
