Bam Adebayo’s dominant 38-point effort on Friday night fueled the Miami Heat’s 110-107 win over the Washington Wizards, capping off the home-home baseball series with Washington. The Heat have now won two straight for the first time in nearly two weeks, when they had a season-high three straight wins.
Adebayo, who had 16 points in the second half and 12 in the final frame, led all scorers on 15-of-22 shooting, adding 12 rebounds plus three assists. Miami had four other double figure scorers while Washington had three.
Adebayo’s 38 points marked a season-high and the second 30-point game he had this season, the only other being on Nov.
