The Miami Heat have a 3-3 record in the preseason after winning back-to-back games this weekend against the Houston Rockets and the Atlanta Hawks. While two victories against established contenders seem impressive, the wins themselves do not say much due to the irregular rotations that are commonplace in preseason basketball. However, that does not mean analyzing all preseason play is fruitless. In fact, the preseason can be a good indicator of what is to come. In that spirit, here are five takeaways from the Heat’s weekend:
