100 games: Hassan Whiteside's great statistical accomplishments

Over just a year ago the Miami Heat made a huge gamble by signing an unproven center with a resume of only 19 NBA career games and an average of 0.8 points to show for it in four years.

Hassan Whiteside, the Heat’s golden find of the decade, has turned out to make the Heat look very smart for taking that gamble. Whiteside now generates a much improved 10.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game on 61% shooting for his career averages.

The 33rd pick in the 2010 draft played 19 games with the Sacramento Kings before stints in the Middle East and China.
