Report: LeBron leaves meeting with Heat without reaching a deal

LeBron James left Wednesday's meeting in Vegas with Miami Heat officials without agreeing to terms on a new contract with the team, sources indicated to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Here's Wojnarowski with the scoop via Twitter:

There was rampant speculation all day long that James would deliver his decision shortly after his meeting with team president Pat Riley and other assembled members of Heat management. That does not seem to be the case at this point.

As reported by Marc J. Spears of Yahoo!, James is expected to mull over his options with his family before making any concrete plans:

As ESPN's Chris Broussard indicates, this will delay James' decision at least until tomorrow:

Without a deal in place with the Heat, the door could very well be opening for teams like the Cleveland Cavs and Chicago Bulls to recruit the ten-time NBA All-Star - provided that James is willing to listen.
