The Miami Heat come out looking to save face after a rough first 36 minutes. The Spurs' Boris Diaw had as many assists (7) as the entire Heat team. That all led to a 24-point lead for the San Antonio Spurs, 81-57.

A Chris Andersen layup would temporarily cut the deficit to 22, but Patty Mills would drain a triple on the other end to make it 84-59.

Dwyane Wade would help send the Heat on a 4-0 mini-run from there, hitting a 19-foot jumper and assisting on a Udonis Haslem dunk. 84-63 Spurs with just over ten to go.

Another missed chance for San Antonio on their end gave it right back to Miami. Dwyane Wade drew a shooting foul on the Heat's possession, hitting one from the line to drop the San Antonio lead to 20.

Boris Diaw would throw it away for the Spurs (their 12th turnover), as the crowd picked up a little bit of the volume. It got better from there with Dwyane Wade hitting a ten-foot laser to force Spurs coach Gregg Popovich to call timeout. 7-0 run by the Heat. 84-66 Spurs with 9:04 left.

The run dies right away after the break, as the Spurs pass the ball around the perimeter and find Patty Mills open in the corner for an easy trey. 87-66.

Mills would also draw a charge on the other end, giving the rock right back to San Antonio. Manu Ginobli would throw it away to the Heat, however, giving Miami another look on offense.

Haslem would fail to drop in a 1-footer at the rim, leading right to a Kawhi Leonard mid-range jumper on the return trip for San Antonio. 89-66 with 7:47 left.

Dwyane Wade would get hacked in the act of shooting on Miami's next touch, missing the first. A Heat 20-second timeout gets Ray Allen back on the court. Wade hit the second to make it a 22-point game.

The Spurs would give it right back to the Heat next trip down with an offensive foul by Manu Ginobli.

Ray Allen, with fresh legs, banked a two-pointer in from there. 89-69 Spurs.

The lead would be cut to 18 after that, as a Duncan mid-range miss leads to a Bosh jumper. 89-71.

But, Kawhi Leonard was still on the court - getting his 20th point on a runner to extend the lead back to 20. That would balloon to 22 as two missed threes for Miami on their next possession led to a Tim Duncan layup (on a pretty Boris Diaw dime). 93-71 Spurs with 5:30 left.

Leonard inserted himself right back into the conversation again, taking the ball away from Dwyane Wade on defense. Tony Parker would miss a 23-footer, but Leonard, doing it all, grabbed the board and drew a foul on Wade. Official timeout. 93-71 Spurs with 5:03 left.

Boris Diaw would miss a running one-hander in the lane coming back from commercial, leading to a Norris Cole drive-by at the bucket for two. 93-73 Spurs.

Manu Ginobli answered right back, confidently striding to the bucket for a layup to extend the lead back to 22.

LeBron James bricked a 24-footer on the Heat's next possession, as Leonard pulls down another board for San Antonio. Spurs 20-second timeout. 95-73 Spurs with 3:38 on the clock.

Patty Mills comes out of the timeout and attempts a leaning mid-range shot which bounces off the rim, sending it back to the Heat. Bosh drives in for an easy two, but as has been the story of the whole game, the Spurs answered with two of their own (this time from Marco Belinelli).

After the Spurs' Cory Joseph (who entered the game for Parker at the 3:38 mark) fouls Mario Chalmers, the Heat call a full timeout with 2:43 left. 97-75 Spurs as the San Antonio reserves are starting to flood the floor. Leonard left with a team-high 20 points and 14 rebounds in 39 minutes.

Coming back from the commercial, the Miami crowd is 75% out of the building. Both teams trade misses in front of a quiet building, before trading buckets right after. 99-77 Spurs with just under two to go.

Cory Joseph picked up another two for the Spurs, hitting a pretty finger roll. The Heat would respond with a three-ball by James Jones. 101-80 with 1:31 left.

The Spurs would grab a Jeff Ayres freebie on a Shane Battier foul. Missing the second, the Spurs would get it back...leading to an Aron Baynes deuce. All 13 Spurs players officially are on the score sheet.

James Jones would hit another triple for the Heat in garbage time, followed by a free throw for San Antonio's Matt Bonner on a Greg Oden three.

Jones responded with his third-straight triple, cutting the lead to 105-86. Two Spurs free throws extended it back to 21 and that is where it finishes. The crowd chants "let's go Heat" to serenade the team, but it's a 3-1 series lead for San Antonio after winning the last two in South Beach. Spurs win 107-86.

LeBron James led all scorers with 28.
