Fullback is a bruising position of the past where running lanes were opened and then plowed through by a big bruising runner without the football. Many younger fans don’t even remember the Dolphins using one. The last one seems so long ago.
There haven’t been many fullbacks on the Dolphins roster over the years. The last notable FB was Lousaka Polite who played from 2008 – 2010.
