Why the Dolphins’ 2013 Offseason Could Be the Worst in NFL History

It seems almost impossible to imagine a team being able to do this much damage to their roster in just eight weeks, but someone, during the spring of 2013, the Miami Dolphins were able to find a way.

From 2011-2012, the Miami Dolphins built the foundation of their team. The team was able to acquire Mike Pouncey, Charles Clay, Lamar Miller, Olivier Vernon, and Ryan Tannehill. They already had players on defense like Paul Soliai, Randy Starks, Reshad Jones, Karlos Dansby, and Cameron Wake; the team was on its way. A solid effort during the 2013 offseason could have solidified them as one of the league’s up and coming teams, adding talent to a growing contingent of strong players.
