The Miami Dolphins began as a franchise under head coach George Wilson. Wilson, despite having won a championship as a head coach in the NFL was not as lucky in Miami. Wilson ended his time with the Phins winning only 15 games to 39 losses. After just four seasons the team moved on and found the definition of stability in head coach Don Shula. Shula not only helmed the ship for 26 straight years but also took the team to all five of their Super Bowls, winning two. Since that time the team has rolled through a long list of head coaches.
