MIAMI (CBSMiami) — The Miami Dolphins are in negotiations with Adam Gase for the head coaching position, a source told the Sun-Sentinel.
The team is scheduled to meet for a second time Saturday with Gase, the Offensive Coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
Gase has drawn interest from several other teams, including the Browns, Eagles, and Giants, with Philadelphia reportedly making him an offer.
Despite a Bears offense that was ranked 23rd in the league in scoring, Gase is considered one of the most attractive coaching options this offseason for the work he did with Peyton Manning and Tim Tebow as QB Coach and Offensive Coordinator in Denver.
