I like what the Dolphins are doing so far among restructuring the contracts of defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and linebacker Koa Misi, cutting wide receiver Greg Jennings, and hosting free agent defensive end Mario Williams. Each of those moves points to a team that’s giving itself a chance to make a run at the playoffs in 2016.
But here’s the key, the Dolphins can’t afford to purge quality talent such as cornerback Brent Grimes and defensive end Cam Wake.
I’ll take that a step further and say under almost no circumstances should the Dolphins part ways with Grimes and Wake.
