DAVIE – As you listen to coach Adam Gase rail against third-down offense, pass protection, run defense and other elements of the Dolphins you realize there’s one thing he leaves untouched – quarterback play.
Ryan Tannehill has almost been a sacred cow. Gase has spent the last two weeks pointing to players around Tannehill, but not Tannehill himself.
Listen to Gase, on a conference call with Cleveland media before last week’s game, when asked whether Tannehill needs to step up his game.
“He has really been, probably, one of our most consistent guys that we have,” Gase said.
